Wednesday 03/30/2005: We are One body

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. The body is not one member, but many.” ICorinthians 12:12-14

A most telling name for the church is "The Body of Christ. We are joined by common beliefs at the core of our relationship with God. When we accepted Christ we put aside childish pretentions and came to him as we are.

Denominationalism is our childish rags put back on our cleansed bodies. Paul wrote in ICorinthians 3:4 "For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?" and then in 3:11 "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ."

Read the whole book of First Corinthians, then you can go to the Junior Partner website and read about the basics that bind us together.

We are one body, we need to work together declaring those things we share; and pray for each other, and ourselves, where we differ.

Easter Sunday, 3/27/2005

Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ!

IPeter 5: 1-3, "The elders which are amoung you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is amoung you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock."

The church is not a building. Christ's Church is "anywhere two or more of you gather." The body of Christ is an assembly of believers. We should seek the company of believers at least daily, willingly encourageing each other in Christ. That is Church.

This is Church. We are gathered together to encourage each other. Twice a week is not enough. We need to be in constant contact with God, rejoicing and living a joy filled life. When we encounter a brother or sister in Christ, that should always be a church service meeting.

If you are unable to get together with believers this week, rejoice with us here. We are havin' Church! If you go to a specific building for Easter services, make sure it is one where you can meet with believers and support each other in your Christian walk.

They will know we are Christians by our love!

Wednesday Service, 3-23-2005

Our first several services will be pulling information from the Junior Partner Ministries web site.

This first is important as we launch this eChurch. We must remember it is God, not us, who will determine the success of this ministry.

Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Zech 4: 6 A bit further in the chapter "For who hath despised the day of small things?" There is an enduring theme in scripture of enlargement and growth. Sometimes there is even the implication of loss proceeding the development of gain. Jesus talks of faith as a small seed, the implication is the seed must be planted and lost to other uses, such as food, before it can grow and give a return. Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, wherewith shall we be clothed? But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:31,33 It seems to me something can not be added unto if you already have it. "Verily I say unto you, there is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting." Luke 18: 29,30

So where does this leave us? Even if we are one the world views as great, we may need to shed the attractive to gain the required. "He is not a fool who gives up what he can't keep to acquire what he can't loose." Sometimes it is harder to release little than much, but it is always hard to release.

The Passion of Christ and his crucifixion are like the dying of a seed, his resurrection the new beginning. "Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone:but if it die, it bringith forth much fruit." John 12:24 We are the fruit born from Christ's sacrifice. The seed dies to come to a greater life; It is the greater life that brings joy.

When you accepted Christ Jesus, you shared in the victories his death purchased and his resurrection assured. The seed that is you can sprout. Always grow in and by faith. An apple tree doesn't grunt while nurturing fruit, it flowers with hope. Don't despise the days of small beginnings, they establish deep roots necessary to support a great tree.

Twice Weekly services at JrPM eChurch

There will be new messages, God willing, at this site by every Wednesday and Sunday.

Not sure yet if we should call it a web Church, Virtual Church, e-Church, eChurch, or some other designation.

We will have regular meetings.

Let me know if you have another name to throw in. The key is to magnify Jesus. The route is through increased involvement in this and the local Church.

For spiritual food now, go to the Jr Partner Ministries home page.

First Service

Howdy!

This is a virtual Church meeting.

We will have a meeting at least once a week on varied topics. Don't just read these blog posts, become involved in a local fellowship also.

This first post is just setting the stage. Of course the lead in this production is Jesus Christ. He was crucified for our sins, buried, and has risen from the dead to sit in triumph next to the Father in heaven. For an overview of Church Doctrine visit The Junior Partner Ministries home page.

Junior Partner Ministries is an evangelistic church supporting missionaries and outreach ministries. To join a service, just show up and read our posts. To join our church, visit and read our web site, then send us an email. Do attend a bible preaching local church as well.

We are what is called a free church. We have not filed with any government for any reason. This Ministry is founded under the sovereignty of JESUS CHRIST and established under the guarantees set forth by the First Amendment to The Constitution Of The United States Of America. We are not incorporated, in church affairs we recognize no sovereign but Jesus Christ.

If you have not accepted Christ as your lord and savior; now is the time to do it.

This will be a worthwhile, joy filled journey.

Welcome aboard.

Jesus Is Lord!
