Theologians once honestly debated how many angels could dance on the head of a pin.

Many theologians still debate arcane and subtitle nuances that do not bear on our lives.

Jesus Christ is real. He has paid the price to allow us to be adopted into the family of God. Jesus will come again for those who are waiting for him.

We can argue about the meanings of Daniel's vision - but one day the real meaning will be apparent. In the meantime people perish without a vision of the reality of God.

One God - three persons -blessed Trinity. - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. - We can argue creation - or we can enjoy it, some day we will know as we are known. In the meantime - people perish.

The simplicity of the gospel, the good news that we can share in God's love by accepting the sacrifice of his son, is lost in details of no eternal significance.

And the people perish.

Lets forget the fancy words and endless debates about theology that divide the body of Christ. Instead let us unite before the pure and simple truths represented by the cross and an empty tomb.
