Mid week Service, Love

.
Then one of them, a lawyer, asked tempting him and saying "Master which is the great commandment in the law?" Jesus said unto him "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
Matthew 22:35-40 ( KJV), see also Luke 10: 25-37

The story goes that as John the beloved aged he attended regular services, but didn't stay long. He would come in, say "Love one Another," and leave. One time as he was getting ready to leave someone asked him why he didn't get into the deeper things of the Spirit. John is said to have replied, " Once you learn and do the first thing, we will go on to the second."

Let's learn to love. No need to complain or critisize; let's do love first.

I love you is a nice thing to hear. Say it often, to others, and to Jesus.

God Loves us more than we love ourselves. God is smarter and wiser than we are. If we want what is best for ourselves, for the body of Christ, for everyone, we will do what God asks.

Period.
